Activities with Adventure Plus
Adventure Plus is based here and runs activities for groups who are staying with us or visiting for the day, with instruction and equipment provided.
Adventure Plus is licensed by the Adventure Activities Licensing Service for climbing, trekking and watersports, so you can be confident your group is in safe hands.
Sessions run in rotating groups, tailored to your group’s size and goals. Add a single session to a meeting or retreat, or build a full programme around a residential. After canoeing, kayaking or paddleboarding, there’s a drying room for wet kit.
What you can do
Mix and match activities to suit your group, and ask us if there’s something you’d like that isn’t listed. Canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding and raft building currently run on the nearby River Thames in summer, moving to our own Adventure Lake from summer 2027.

What groups say
They really do care about the children, and whilst the activities are always fun and safe, the instructors also prioritise getting to know our pupils… They make the whole session an adventure (even the walk to the activity area was turned into a fun expedition) and our children had a great time.
As we had a group with additional needs, [the instructors] explained things really well. Breaking instructions into smaller steps and being shown how to do the activities was helpful… A great variety of activities, we would love to come back and do more! Really good value for money.
The Adventure Plus team were excellent. Our youth group had a fantastic time playing archery tag, and it was great to know we could completely trust the team to run fun, exciting activities!

Who runs the activities?
Adventure Plus instructors. Adventure Plus is licensed by the Adventure Activities Licensing Service for climbing, trekking and watersports.
Do we need to stay overnight to book activities?
No. Day groups can book activities too, and they can be added to meetings and team days.

What happens if the weather is bad?
Instructors may change an activity for safety reasons, and will offer a suitable alternative.
Can you adapt activities for additional needs?

New for summer 2027: the Adventure Lake
This summer we dug a brand-new lake on site. It opens to groups in summer 2027, and we’re already taking bookings.
From summer 2027 groups can paddle, raft build and wild swim on it, try our new inland coasteering wall, camp on the island, and play beach volleyball or go pond dipping on its shores.
